Andrew Scharnitzky

Andrew is a junior Music Industry Studies student at the University of South Carolina. Andrew was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina.

Andrew has always been passionate about music, performance, and production. He has been involved in marching percussion, theatre, and music production. Work experience includes an internship with five Danny Wimmer Presents(DWP) music festivals under the markteting, sponsorship and content departments.

Interests

Andrew has always been interested in music and theatre. This has taken him through concert and marching band, as well as the independent WGI Drumline: Palmetto Indoor Marching Arts. His interest in theatre has led him to a multitude of musical, comedic, and dramatic theatre including The Addams Family, CLUE, Mamma Mia!, and more.

Experience

Andrew has worked as a Recording Assistant for the University of South Carolina School of Music, a Danny Wimmer Presents Intern under the marketing, content, and sponsorship teams, an extern for the Metallica M72 World Tour production crew, and a Chick-fil-A BOH team member.
